The easiest one is courier delivery. It is quick, simple and is certainly economic. Surprised anyone goes for any other option? Well you do need to self install. Installation, even the word sounds a nightmare!
Well, do not let it frighten you. For ease of shipping the riser recliner chair is sent in two parts. To set it up takes about 5 minutes. Once unwrapped, all you have to do is slide the chair-back into position and plug in.
The adjustable bed is even simpler it just needs unwrapping and plugging in. Bath lifts do not need installing at all, but you do need to remember to charge the battery first (a helpful safety device will not let you use it if the battery does not have enough “puff” to get you out again).
But for some of our customers, If they do not have a helpful Daughter/Grandson/Niece/Partner this might still present something of a problem, then “White Gloves” can help.
As its name suggests, this delivery service comes with all the trimmings. The Chair (or bed) is delivered on a specified day and time, is unwrapped and set up in the room of your choice. You will also be shown how to operate it, so you can settle in comfortably straight away!
The cost is £60 – 80 depending on the model and delivery takes about 7 -10 days.
There is a third option. If you are within range, you can if you prefer, collect direct from our warehouse (we are on the South Coast). This might be less trouble than it sounds, as once again no extra cost is involved and there is no need to wait in for the delivery. But you will need an estate car or similar.
Deliveries are made throughout the country. There may some additional cost if delivery has to be made to offshore islands, Northern Ireland, and Republic of Ireland or if you are more than 350 miles from our base in Sussex. We can also quote on deliveries throughout Europe.
